When I crumbled the remains of a bath bomb left in its packaging I observed these shapes in the water and documented them before getting in the bath.
The amorphous, molecular organism-like forms of colour were recorded and used with many works, primarily when creating work on my 2001 computer. They were also major inspiration to the forms that make up the streaks of black primer in Sealed, 2020.
